Amazon Web Services is seeking bright, motivated, hardworking individuals to fill Data center Logistics Specialist positions.
Responsibilities
Logistics Specialists monitor inventory levels to ensure proper stock levels are maintained to support build and repair activities.
Receive parts, maintain inventory, and check-out parts as needed to Data center Technicians and Engineers.
Load and unload shipments and transport parts between different locations.
Ensure that all billing associated with the Inventory supply chain is accurate, validated, and ready for processing.
Assemble, address, stamp, and arrange for the shipment of merchandise and materials.
Assist in daily scheduling of deliveries and pick-ups to and from production locations.
Keep precise records of all commodities going in and out of the company.
Understand all aspects of production, adhere to strict safety standards, maintain very high quality, and be willing and able to work on powered equipment (e.g., forklift or cherry picker).
Basic Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
1+ years of logistics or other relevant experience
1+ year of experience in shipping & receiving, inventory and warehousing practices
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in warehouse operations and logistics or equivalent
Familiar with waybills and shipping procedures with transport companies
Ability to manage work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordination with Manager
Familiarity with computer hardware components and operating systems
Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
