
Mortgage Client Representative (Processing / Underwriting Experience Required)

Overview
We are seeking experienced mortgage professionals to support our
Correspondent Mortgage Lending team , which partners with
small banks and credit unions
to provide the infrastructure, expertise, and ongoing operational support needed to deliver high-quality mortgage products.
This role requires
prior hands-on mortgage processing and/or underwriting experience , as it involves direct support of loan files, client onboarding, training, and ongoing relationship management. Candidates must bring a high level of attention to detail, strong mortgage operational knowledge, and a service-oriented mindset.
Depending on experience and skill set, this position will be aligned with responsibilities spanning file review, client support, and cross-functional coordination.

client-facing service , playing a critical role in helping our correspondent partners succeed while ensuring quality, compliance, and operational excellence.

This position performs purely clerical, or administrative tasks, on behalf of loan originators but does not take consumer credit applications, offer, or negotiate credit terms.
Responsibilities
Serve as a primary point of contact for our processors
Coordinate client processor onboarding, training, and ongoing relationship management
Translate operational requirements into clear guidance for client staff
Ensure consistent delivery of service across all internal support teams
Support correspondent bank and credit union clients throughout the loan lifecycle
Review mortgage loan files for accuracy, completeness, and guideline adherence
Act as a liaison between clients and internal processing, underwriting, and closing teams
Provide responsive, professional customer support and problem resolution
Maintain detailed documentation and ensure consistent application of investor and regulatory requirements
Identify process gaps and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Prior mortgage processing and/or underwriting experience is required
Solid understanding of residential mortgage loan documentation and workflows
High level of attention to detail and organizational accuracy
Ability to work collaboratively across multiple internal and external teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Correspondent lending experience
Experience working directly with banks or credit unions
Knowledge of investors, agency, and regulatory guidelines
