Manufacturing Technician

Summary/Objective
The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for various aspects of transformer manufacture—Welding, Buffing, Winding coils, Lacing coils, Core & Coil Assembly, Tanking, Final Finish.
Position Type and Hours
Full‑time. Workdays Monday through Friday, with shifts varying by department. Occasional longer days and weekends may be required based on workload. Hours will be worked to complete tasks in a timely manner.
Essential Functions
Daily on‑site attendance.
Maintain 5S practices at all times.
Complete transformer manufacturing with consistent speed and accuracy.
Ensure production requirements and standards are met consistently.
Increase productivity and efficiency while maintaining quality.
Operate machinery correctly and keep it maintained.
Report machinery issues to management.
Work cooperatively across manufacturing teams to meet dates and goals.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Observe all safety guidelines and report concerns to management.
Follow all written and verbal instructions.
Attend all safety and production trainings.
Physical and Environmental Requirements
The ideal candidate must be able to
lift up to 50 lbs
and stand for extended periods. All physical requirements must be met with or without reasonable accommodation.
Travel
Not required.
