
Building Engineer

Our client, a manufacturing facility, is seeking a Building Engineer to join their team. As a Building Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering and Technical Services supporting maintenance and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have excellent organization skills, strong plumbing, patching/painting, drywalling, and electrical skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire, and control systems.
Ensure building systems operate efficiently and meet safety standards.
Assist with preventive maintenance programs and emergency repairs.
Inspect building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure proper operation.
Follow safety protocols for hazardous materials and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
What's Needed?
High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of relevant experience.
Ability to climb ladders, go on roofs, and lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs or more.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills, with CMMS experience preferred.
Relevant certifications/licenses, such as HVAC licensing or universal CFC certification, are a plus.
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
