Job Title: Shipping/Inventory Coordinator
Location: Overland Park, KS
Type: Contract
Compensation: $27/hr

Responsibilities
Support shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities by performing operational tasks in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
Prepare materials for shipment, including packing and completing required shipping documentation
Coordinate domestic and international shipments via LTL, air freight, and small packages following standard shipping practices
File customs documentation and certifications as needed
Obtain and maintain dangerous goods (DG) shipping certification for applicable shipments
Receive, store, and shelve materials, ensuring accurate inventory records are maintained in ERP systems
Perform data entry and transaction processing within ERP systems to support inventory accuracy
Pull, kit, and process materials in support of production work orders
Support cycle counts and inventory audits by locating, counting, and verifying materials
Assist with movement of materials between internal departments, off-site warehouses, and sister divisions
Maintain cleanliness and organization of inventory and shipping areas
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth daily operations
Follow established processes, safety requirements, and company policies
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent with 2–4 years of related experience in shipping, receiving, or inventory operations
Basic understanding of shipping processes and inventory control practices
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
Ability to follow procedures and prioritize tasks effectively
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
Familiarity with shipping systems like FedEx, UPS, DHL
Must be a US Person or authorized under ITAR/EAR regulations
