Role Overview
As an Assembly Supervisor at Safran Seats, you will manage the production cell to ensure optimum flow, safety, and high quality of aircraft seats.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain an optimum flow of production through the department or work cell.
Actively promote safety in all aspects of the department or work cell.
Provide training to all employees and ensure they understand their job responsibilities; cross‑train employees for added efficiency.
Develop and maintain strong positive communications and working relations with all employees. Handle complaints and pre‑grievances thoroughly.
Supervise labor and material to maintain a positive variance against hazards.
Actively involve all employees in taking corrective action to achieve high levels of product quality that meet and exceed quality standards.
May conduct or direct in‑process and final inspections of all work accomplished within the assigned area in accordance with FAA regulations.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
At least three years of experience in a production environment.
Two years of prior lead or supervisory experience preferred.
FAA Repair Technician Certification preferred upon hire and required within 90 days.
Knowledge of MRP systems, scheduling, and blueprints.
Knowledge of bargaining agreement or willingness to learn.
Computer literacy.
