HVAC Service and Installation Manager

Overview
Our client is one of the fastest-growing companies in the residential HVAC industry and is currently seeking an HVAC Service and Installation Manager. This is a hands-on field leadership role responsible for overseeing service, repair, and installation operations for the Greenville–Spartanburg, SC branch. As the company continues to expand, this position offers the opportunity to broaden its scope and support additional regions.
Responsibilities
Operations & Quality
Perform and support daily service calls, including diagnostics and repairs.
Provide hands-on support for complex jobs, high demand, or emergency calls.
Oversee installations and service work to ensure quality, safety, and code compliance.
Identify system issues or upgrade opportunities and initiate appropriate sales referrals.
Coach technicians on diagnostics, workmanship, and customer communication.
Reinforce safety standards through field oversight and audits.
Ensure accuracy of job documentation, timekeeping, and material usage.
Leadership & Development
Lead, coach, and develop technicians to build a high-performing team.
Coordinate schedules, materials, and permits for efficient job execution.
Support technicians in resolving onsite customer questions and issues.
Ensure completed work meets company quality and customer satisfaction standards.
Compliance & Administration
Maintain full compliance with state licensing, permitting, and inspection requirements.
Review documentation, safety records, and job costing inputs for accuracy.
Support reporting and inventory management as needed.
Qualifications
5+ years of residential HVAC service, repair, and installation experience, including leadership responsibility.
Strong diagnostic and hands-on technical expertise.
Solid knowledge of HVAC safety practices, codes, and regulations.
Valid driver’s license with ability to travel locally.
