
Protein Design Lead

Were looking for a talented scientist to leverage the latest advances in computational protein design towards the development of groundbreaking biosensing technology. Were changing whats possible in diagnostics and protein design is central to our efforts. You will collaborate with our experts in machine learning, molecular biology, and assay development to design real-world products that benefit human health.
This role is based out of our beautiful office & lab in San Francisco.
Key Responsibilities
Architect next-generation protein-based biosensors
Lead our computational protein binder design efforts
Set our protein design research direction as the company scales up
Qualifications
PhD (completed or in progress) in a related field
Demonstrated ability to design de novo protein binders
Expertise with diffusion models (RFdiffusion, Chai-1), ProteinMPNN, and AlphaFold-3 or similar structure-prediction architectures.
Some experience with wetlab operations (protein expression, purification, etc).
