We have a position open for Detail Parts Inspector at our Carrollton, TX location.

Job Purpose
Dimensional inspection of engine parts.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions

Read and interpret maintenance and overhaul manuals, service bulletins and other specifications to determine feasibility and method of repairing or replacing life‑limited, malfunctioning, or damaged components.

Replace or repair worn, defective or damaged components using hand tools, gauges and testing equipment.

Perform testing of PT6 model engines and components.

Inspect incoming parts and final inspection of articles, ensuring all inspections are performed and recorded properly before final approval for return to service.

Ensure work order packages contain required documents and forms.

Ideal Candidates

Proficient in reading and understanding manufacturer instructions, drawings, and technical documents.

Mechanical experience in either the Aviation or Automotive Industry.

Ability to use precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.

Working Conditions
Physical Demands:

Requires sitting or standing for extended periods, frequent walking, bending, reaching to shoulder level, occasional squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling up to 60 pounds, repetitive hand movement, eye‑hand coordination, manual dexterity, and corrected vision and hearing within normal range.

Equipment Operated:

Precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators).

Work Location:

Prime Turbines, Dallas (Carrollton), Texas.

Education/Training:

High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience:

At least 2 years of related experience in Aviation or a related field preferred.
