Systems Engineer

Responsibilities
The Chief Engineer will be the definitive technical authority for all aspects of engineering for the enterprise and responsible for maintaining and driving the system architecture and system performance. Develops and maintains a strong support team and customer relationship to ensure that all stakeholder needs, goals and objectives are considered. Leads a multi-disciplined engineering team and manages the technical performance of the program. Supports the coordination of MW system level requirements development, hardware/software design, verification and validation activities. Key stakeholder of the major engineering review, readiness and configuration control boards. In coordination with the SEIT lead, ensures that the FORGE enterprise is adhering to sound engineering processes in the development, production, test, and sustainment of products for FORGE customers. Maintains cognizance over technical activities within FORGE IPTs and in coordination with the government SEIT lead, ensures horizontal integration of the best engineering practices across the FORGE enterprise. Continually coordinates with the government SEIT lead to ensure consistent technical baselines.
