Eastern Environmental Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled and reliable Excavator / Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. We specialize in environmental remediation, tank removal, site work, drainage, septic systems, and general excavation. We are looking for a dependable operator with strong safety awareness and extensive environmental experience in the environmental field working on a variety of excavation projects. A CDL A License is required.
For Compliance purposes for NYS transparency, the expected salary range is $45.00 - $110.00 per hour.
Compensation will be based on experience, certifications, and other factors permitted by law. Overtime and Prevailing jobs are available.
Responsibilities
Operate excavators safely and efficiently on environmental and construction job sites
Perform excavation and other heavy equipment tasks for tank removal, remediation projects, drainage systems, septic installations, and general site work
Follow site plans and directions from project supervisors
Complete daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
Maintain adherence to all safety procedures and company standards
Requirements
Proven experience operating excavators and heavy equipment in construction or environmental work
OSHA 30 certification is required
Must have a CDL A
Strong understanding of job site safetyAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
