
Staff RN - Med/Surg Pediatrics

Duration: Full Time
Schedule: 12 hour shifts; every other weekend
** Up to $25,000 sign‐on bonus**
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assessing and admitting patients
- Keeping a close eye on vital signs and responding when needed
- Collaborating with our healthcare crew to provide exceptional patient care
- Administering medications as provided by Physician and providing patient and family education
Qualifications:
- A valid RN license
- Pediatric experience
- Med Surg experience preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
- A graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing
- Previous clinical nursing experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
License/Certification
Minimum Required:
- Current NYS RN License
Preferred:
- Professional certification in a related nursing specialty
- Relevant skills certification (i.e., ACLS, PALS, TNCC) as required by home unit assigned.

Compensation: $40.70‐$61.05 per hour, depending on experience.

Work Environment
- Work is performed in an office environment and patient care areas which require working in proximity to other employees and patients.
- Rooms are air conditioned and heated.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending and lifting.
- Fast paced environment with frequent interruptions.
- Exposure to equipment cleaning solutions and disinfectants.
- PPE (Eyewear, Masks, Face shields, Shoe covers, and Gloves) as required by Infection Control policies
