Medical Assistant/Histology Technician
The Medical Assistant/Histology Technician plays a critical part in preparing, processing, and analyzing tissue samples that support accurate diagnoses and high‑quality patient care. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in histological techniques and medical assisting, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining precision and accuracy in all aspects of laboratory work.
Responsibilities
Assist the doctor by welcoming the patient, evaluating the patient, and supporting the doctor in providing excellent care.
Travel to local clinics when needed.
Cutting slides.
Patient intake.
Entry of data into the Electronic Health Record System.
Preparing and handling medical supplies, instruments, and specimens.
Preparing materials for the provider.
Keeping the facility and equipment clean and tidy.
Other duties as deemed necessary.
Must be able to travel with the provider to the Lewisburg clinic.

ASCP HT (Histotechnician)
HTL (Histotechnologist)
