Role Description

The Escrow Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Portage, MI. The role involves leading real estate closings, managing all aspects of the escrow process, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with legal and company guidelines. Additional responsibilities include working with notaries, collaborating with residential real estate professionals, and delivering exceptional customer service to clients, lenders, and real estate agents.
Qualifications

Proficiency in managing real estate closings and overseeing escrow functions
Certified Notary Public and experience in notarizing legal and real estate documents
Background in residential real estate transactions and processes
Strong customer service skills to build and maintain client relationships
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities
Understanding of local state and federal regulations affecting the title and escrow process
Proficiency in title software and basic office tools
Previous experience as an Escrow Officer is highly beneficial
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
