Full-time on the Day Shift, M-F 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Day Shift, Monday-Friday Standard Days
Summary
Responsible for performing multiple customer-focused functions within the Patient Registration Department as it pertains to scheduling patients for appointments into the health system.
Other Information
Must be able to: 1) multi-task, 2) work independently, 3) communicate on varying levels, both written and oral.
Essential Qualifications
High School Diploma Graduate or Equivalent
Nonessential Qualifications
Bachelor of Science or Arts in Business Administration
Experience
1 Year job experience as Staff Level with specialization in the field of Care Admin - Registration
Office Overview
Children’s of Alabama Scheduling office is located on the Main Downtown Campus exclusively in the Lee Building. Centralized intake center for patient referrals and appointment call center scheduling for specialty clinics, therapies, testing, and radiology procedures. Responsible for performing multiple customer-focused scheduling workflows in collaboration with the specialty offices. Works directly with patients/families to schedule their specialty appointment.
