Financial Planner (CFP) – Growth Opportunity into Advisor Role
We’re partnering with a well-established, boutique financial planning and wealth advisory firm to hire a Financial Planner (CFP) to support a growing client base and play a key role in the firm’s continued success. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on planner who enjoys building comprehensive financial plans, contributing to investment strategy, and working closely with experienced advisors—with a clear path to grow into an Advisor role over time if desired.
What You’ll Be Doing
Develop and prepare comprehensive financial plans
Analyze client portfolios and provide planning/investment recommendations
Support client review prep and ongoing financial strategy
Assist with investment analysis and potential trading activity
Contribute to insurance and risk management planning
Take ownership of smaller client needs to support senior advisors
Operate as a true team player, wearing multiple hats in a collaborative environment
Role Requirements
Series 6 license
5+ years of financial planning experience (flexible for exceptional candidates)
Based locally in or near Greensboro, NC
Life & Health Insurance license (or willingness to obtain)
Strong background in insurance and risk planning
