Regional Controller
to join the accounting team! Essential Job Functions
Prepare and process detailed financial statements for each of our clients
Coordinate financial audits with the VP and CFO
Delegate data entry tasks with junior accounting staff
Ensure our clients are in compliance with regulatory and in‑house standards and best practices
Prepare written budgets and reports in accordance with our clients’ needs
Establish internal control systems to prevent inaccuracies in financial statements
Reconcile accounts quarterly
Assist with the processing and submission of invoices
Review financial data on a quarterly basis and consult with VP about problems or discrepancies
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in an environment that involves multiple projects
HR industry experience preferred but not required
Abilities:
Ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal correspondence
Commitment to detailed financial accounting and reporting
Excellent 10‑key speed and accuracy
Proficiency in MS office
Knowledge or ability to learn company system applications, such as Systems2K and other applicable software
Ability to bed or sit for long periods of time
Ability to be able to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
Ability to work in a climate‑controlled environment
Ability to continuously engage in visual activities, such as use of computer, files, and reports
