Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for all functions associated with material warehousing including picking orders, shipping and receiving. The Warehouse Associate will perform all duties in a timely and orderly fashion to the best of their abilities and with the utmost due care, integrity and professionalism. This role is the gateway to a future career for an individual with the right motivation, drive and initiative.

Key Responsibilities

Make a personal commitment to consistently provide superior customer service to ECCO’s customers so they will want to do repeat business with ECCO Supply.

Maintain good working relationship with all co-workers and ECCO employees.

Assist in the success of ECCO’s Safety Program with suggestions and by setting a good example, also by ensuring that safety is at the forefront of your actions while at work.

Adhere to shipping and receiving policies, procedures and regulatory compliance procedures.

Receive all manufacturing and resale products accurately in a timely fashion and in compliance with ECCO’s receiving procedures.

Maintain the warehouse, receiving areas, and yard in a clean and organized manner; fill pick bins as necessary and as directed.

Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move shipments by hand or using material handling equipment.

Pick/ship goods to customers in an efficient and accurate manner.

Ensure proper documentation is supplied with each shipment; this includes packing, sealing, and labeling materials to prepare for shipping.

Fill out/prepare picking tickets.

Deliver product and/or supplies and other merchandise from the warehouse to different locations.

Assist with loading trailers, preparing and shipping LTL orders as necessary.

Ensure warehouse is appropriately stocked at all times.

Report any maintenance requirements, accidents, incidents, and near misses immediately to your supervisor.

Participate in yearly inventory count.

Other duties as deemed necessary by Management.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Must have forklift experience

Physically capable of lifting up to 50lb

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a busy environment; as well as ability to work within a team

Strong sense of time organization and urgency

Good written and verbal communication skills

Desire to be a long-term employee and contribute to the company’s overall success
