
Field Operations Representative - Builder's Wholesale Interiors

Job Summary
The Field Operations Rep oversees the daily operations of the Specialties Installations, ensuring all projects within their assigned region meet or exceed company quality standards, builder expectations, and timelines. This leadership role involves direct supervision of Installers and collaborating with the Branch Manager to execute the company’s goals and strategic objectives, resolve challenges, and optimize operations through data‑driven insights. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional leadership, problem‑solving, and organizational skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, installers, and internal teams to drive operational excellence.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary contact for installation teams and will have direct contact with customers to problem solve through site issues.
Build and maintain strong relationships with builders to address concerns and drive satisfaction.
Conduct regular job site audits to verify reported progress and resolve issues promptly.
Uphold company safety policies and address safety concerns or incidents promptly.
Act as the primary point of contact for field escalations, addressing and resolving issues promptly while maintaining strong customer relationships.
Perform punch work to correct any installation defects.
Monitor field operations to identify process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and quality.
Communicate field concerns, including scheduling challenges and system updates, to the office for resolution.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Work effectively in a team environment.
Must be able to work under pressure.
Respect and uphold standards of confidentiality and professionalism within the workplace.
Monitoring team performance and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
Requirements
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, preferably within the Specialties division or a similar industry.
Proven leadership skills with a focus on team development and operational excellence.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
Proficient in SupplyPro and other project management software.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively within assigned territory.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Frequent travel to project sites and office locations.
Ability to navigate construction sites, including climbing stairs and standing for periods.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Must be able to complete installation tasks, while not a full‑time expectation, there will be times where performing an installation will be required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Field‑based with exposure to outdoor weather conditions and active construction sites.
Occasional office work for planning, reporting, and collaboration.
Loud working conditions.
May require working in hot or cold temperatures.
