Job Overview
Warehouse Clerk responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, shipping/receiving, order processing, data entry, and maintaining an organized, safe work environment.
Responsibilities
Receive and verify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and damage
Pick, pack, and prepare customer or internal orders for shipment
Load, unload, and move materials safely within the warehouse
Maintain accurate inventory records using scanners or computer systems
Organize stock and keep warehouse areas clean and orderly
Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed
Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Communicate with team members regarding shipping, receiving, and inventory needs
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED preferred
Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred
Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse systems
Ability to read work orders, shipping documents, and labels accurately
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely
Forklift experience or willingness to become certified preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Commitment to safety, attendance, and reliability
