
Junior Design & Release Engineer – Brakes & Steering

We are seeking a motivated Junior Design & Release Engineer to support the development and release of brake and steering systems for automotive applications. The ideal candidate will have foundational experience in mechanical design, strong attention to detail, and hands‑on experience with Siemens NX for 3D modeling and design.
Key Responsibilities
Support the design, development, and release of brake and/or steering components (e.g., calipers, rotors, knuckles, steering columns, racks).
Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings using NX (Siemens NX).
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams such as manufacturing, validation, and suppliers.
Ensure designs meet performance, cost, weight, and quality targets.
Participate in DFMEA, DVP&R, and other engineering validation activities.
Support prototype builds, testing, and issue resolution.
Maintain proper documentation and release data in PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter).
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
+1 year of experience in automotive engineering or product design (brake and/or steering components)
Experience using NX (Siemens NX) for 3D modeling and drafting.
Basic understanding of brake and/or steering systems.
Familiarity with GD&T principles.
Strong problem‑solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Internship or academic project experience in automotive systems.
Exposure to PLM tools (e.g., Teamcenter).
Experience working with OEMs or Tier 1 suppliers
