Responsibilities
This is a full-time on-site role located in Springfield, MO for an Assistant Controller. Under the direction of the Controller, the Assistant Controller is responsible for all general ledger accounting functions, budgeting and forecasting, oversight of capital expenditures and risk management.
Qualifications
Strong accounting and financial expertise, including GAAP knowledge and experience in financial reporting and analysis
Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and account reconciliation
Advanced knowledge of accounting software and tools, as well as Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is a plus
2-5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in manufacturing or a related industry
Strong understanding of regulatory and tax compliance
