POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Perform daily safety and maintenance checks on machines
Practice workplace safety
Perform deep trenching methods using trench boxes and slide rail systems
Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and level earth to grade specifications
Knowledge of operation of excavators and other pieces of heavy equipment (CAT preferred)
Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner
Effective verbal and listening communication skills
Qualifications
Sit 1/3 2/3 of the time
Lift between 25 80 pounds
Reach with hands and arms
Climb up and down ladders
3-4 years experience and/or training
Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating maintenance instructions, and process manuals
Valid Utah drivers license with a safe driving record
