Reports To: Milling Lead / Production Manager
Summary
The Hermle Operator is responsible for producing segments on two machines and performing end‑trimming operations on the HAAS CNC Mill. This role requires strong technical ability, precision, and adherence to production schedules.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Load programs into CNC machines.
Load, unload, and adjust tool offsets as required.
Collaborate with Engineering to ensure all parts meet required dimensions and specifications.
Meet production and delivery schedules, including working overtime when necessary.
Adapt to flexible work shifts to support production needs.
Assist in training employees to support department development.
Accurately complete and maintain all required production paperwork and scanning.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills, Education, and Experience
Ability to load programs into CNC machines.
Ability to work within tight tolerances.
Ability to pick up and set "0" positions in a CNC machine.
Understanding of G‑Code and M‑Code (Fanuc).
Computer literacy.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. overhead.
Must be able to properly use and read calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring devices.
One‑year certificate from a college or technical school; or three to six months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
