Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Equipment Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced, automated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of production equipment, automation systems, and facility infrastructure.

This position is ideal for a well-rounded technician with mechanical, electrical, and automation experience, and a background in automotive repair or heavy equipment maintenance preferred not required.

Key Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime

Respond to equipment failures with urgency to support production

Maintain and repair automated systems, robotics, and CNC equipment

Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals

Document work orders and maintenance activity in CMMS

Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

Ensure compliance with safety standards including LOTO procedures

Equipment & Systems You’ll Support

CNC Routers and CNC Granite Equipment

KUKA / BACA Robotic Systems

FrameCAD Roll Forming Systems

Omnimove Transport Systems

Forklifts and material handling equipment

Dust collection and vacuum systems

Semi-trucks and pickup trucks (fleet maintenance)

General facility systems and infrastructure

Required Technical Skill Set

Mechanical Systems

Pumps, seals, and valves

Basic fabrication and metalwork

Electrical & Controls

Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics

AC/DC circuits, motor controls, relays, and contactors

Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), sensors, and control systems

Strong understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures

Troubleshoot fluid power systems

Maintain cylinders, hoses, valves, and compressors

Preventive Maintenance

Lubrication, inspections, and equipment checks

Experience using CMMS systems

Welding & Fabrication (Preferred)

MIG, TIG, or Stick welding

Safe cutting methods (plasma, oxy-acetylene, saws)

Automation & PLC

Troubleshoot sensors and I/O systems

Automation system repair experience highly preferred

Automotive & Fleet Maintenance

Diagnose and repair light/heavy-duty trucks

Brake systems, engines, and transmissions

Preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles

Machining (Preferred)

Lathe and mill experience

CNC machining exposure

What We’re Looking For

Strong troubleshooting mindset with root cause analysis skills

Hands-on experience in automation systems repair

Background in automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial maintenance

Welding experience preferred

PLC and controls experience strongly preferred

Self-driven, dependable, and able to work independently or on a team

Flexible with schedule as production demands change

Education & Experience

High School Diploma or GED required

Technical degree or trade certification preferred

3+ years of industrial maintenance, automotive, or related experience

Industrial manufacturing facility

Exposure to moving machinery, noise, and varying temperatures

Physically active role (standing, walking, lifting, climbing as needed)
