We are looking for an
Audio‑Visual Tech – Banquets
to set up and teardown audio‑visual equipment for all functions, track and protect assets, and provide consulting on audio‑visual needs for future bookings.
As a member of the leadership team, you will embody “ Lead with Love ,” guiding associates and delivering extraordinary guest experiences while keeping service standards above the resort’s expectations.
This is an hourly wage role
Key Responsibilities
Set‑up and teardown of audio‑visual equipment for assigned functions and events
Provide audio‑visual/technical consultation to sales managers and meeting planners/customers regarding future bookings and audio‑visual needs when requested
Solve, rectify and mediate guest complaints and maintain complaint reports
Maintain the highest quality of service for all banquet and meetings service
Assist with completion of all departmental forms (guest complaints, lost business, weekly recaps, contracts, proposals, banquet checks, etc.)
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in hotel management and/or Information Technology is helpful. High school diploma or equivalent is required.
General knowledge of convention center, hotel conference services, and/or banquet department practices and procedures
A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others
Ability to operate in‑house equipment such as telephone systems, internet, Muzak system, sound, lighting, and computer equipment
