We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Permanent OSP Quality Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on the design, development, and optimization of Outside Plant (OSP) network infrastructure, specifically for fiber to the home (FTTH) and fiber to the building (FTTB) projects. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in ArcGIS, GEospacial, quality checks, and OSP to ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable network solutions. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex projects, contribute to the development of innovative solutions, and play a key role in shaping the future of our network infrastructure.
Responsibilities Develop and implement OSP design standards and procedures to ensure the quality and reliability of network infrastructure.
Conduct regular quality checks on OSP projects, identify potential issues, and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop effective solutions for FTTH and FTTB projects.
Utilize ArcGIS and GEospacial tools to create, manage, and analyze spatial data related to OSP projects.
Provide technical guidance and support to the OSP team, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and company standards.
Conduct regular audits of OSP projects to verify compliance with design standards and quality requirements.
Continuously monitor the performance of the OSP network, identify areas for improvement, and implement optimization strategies.
Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the OSP team.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement in OSP design and quality.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, GIS, or related field.
Minimum 5+ years of experience in OSP engineering, with a strong focus on FTTH and FTTB projects.
Expertise in using ArcGIS and GEospacial tools for spatial data management and analysis.
Proven experience in conducting quality checks and audits on OSP projects.
Strong understanding of OSP design standards and procedures.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve potential issues efficiently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve OSP design and quality.
Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
