Primary Responsibilities
The ETL Developer must have software development experience and should be able to follow design principles and coding/best practices for development. Should be able to work in cross functional project teams and follow SDLC processes. A good hands on experience with development tools such as Visual Studio, C#.NET, Microsoft SQL Server 2008R2, T‑SQL and SSIS are essential for this role. Primary Responsibilities include writing T‑SQL in SQL Server and SSIS packages, which support the Vendor Interfaces. Analyze business and system requirements, including impact analysis on existing systems, to develop systems specifications. In partnership with the business units, design, prepare and execute unit test plans for application upgrades and enhancements. Perform analysis on systems and processes to become a subject matter expert, in order to help and support the business units. Data analysis entails understanding the flow of data and its interdependency among QNXT core modules such as Member – Enrollment and Services, Claims Processing, Provider Relations, Clinical Systems and Finance.

Essential Functions

Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise platforms and services.

Define and implement advanced automation and orchestration solutions.

Design and manage complex platforms in hybrid and multi‑cloud environments.

Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for critical platform issues.

Design and implement system monitoring and observability solutions.

Lead platform performance tuning and capacity planning efforts.

Develop technical standards, operational procedures, and leading practices.

Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams.

Qualifications
Education

Bachelor's Degree required; experience can be considered in lieu of a degree.

Experience

At least 5‑7 years of experience as a systems engineer or related position required.

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Deep expertise in enterprise platform design, implementation, and optimization.

Advanced automation and orchestration capabilities using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or similar.

Proficient knowledge of cloud‑native architectures and services.

Ability to conduct root cause analysis and performance tuning at the system and application levels.

Proficient in designing and implementing high‑availability and disaster recovery solutions.

Familiarity with observability frameworks and modern monitoring/alerting platforms.

Proven experience in developing system architecture documentation and operational runbooks.

Ability to mentor junior engineers and lead cross‑functional technical initiatives.

Working Conditions

While this position is designated as remote, all employees, including those classified as remote, may be required to attend meetings, trainings, or other necessary functions onsite at a Mass General Brigham location on an as‑needed basis. Reasonable notice will be provided for any required in‑person attendance.

M‑F Eastern Business Hours required.

Flexibility for business needs to be onsite needed.
