Join a large-scale energy trading transformation initiative based in Houston, TX. This role focuses on architecting and implementing an Energy Trading and Risk Management solution using OpenLink Endur on Microsoft Azure. This is a contract or contract-to-hire opportunity.
This role centers on owning the Endur architecture for a global trading platform. You will define system design, guide implementation teams, and ensure alignment across business workflows, data, and technical architecture. The focus is on delivering a scalable, secure trading system while working closely with business and engineering stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years working with OpenLink Endur (v14+)
10+ years in commodities trading / trading IT environments
Strong understanding of end-to-end trade lifecycle (front to back office)
Experience in enterprise solution architecture and system design
Cloud experience, preferably Azure
Strong integration experience (APIs, messaging, data flows)
Experience leading architecture decisions across teams
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
Prior experience with ETRM implementations or migrations
Knowledge of power, gas, or energy trading markets
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
Exposure to Kubernetes or cloud-native architectures
