Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Analytics and Reporting: Build and deploy process manufacturing statistical and predictive models; conduct data exploration to identify opportunities or risks; investigate data quality, integrity, and controls; draw conclusions and provide actionable insights.

Research and analyze plant issues; develop anomaly detection solutions to provide predictive insights to end users to ensure process safety and safe plant operations.

Collaborate with Seeq, DataPARC, and other programs; become a site in‑house expert; identify new use cases and program them; expand real‑time data use and multivariate models in manufacturing.

Determine value cases for rarely used data streams and advance use cases via proof‑of‑concept projects aligned with DX goals; partner with the DX Technical Project Manager on data management roadmaps.

Engage with Business/Production teams to identify, analyze, and propose value‑driven use cases; build use cases on the Analytics platform.

Provide trainings on data analytics technologies for technicians, researchers, and engineers as required.

Standards

Lead BI development to deliver stable, high‑quality, rapid reports and dashboards that provide business value; work cross‑organizationally to ensure data solutions are secure, efficient, and aligned with DX Enterprise Standards.

Ensure professional and smooth integration of analytics value into operations.

Consultation

Drive adoption of analytics tools and ensure data integrity; provide subject‑matter expertise and consultation on data aspects of new or changing DX solutions.

Transfer knowledge to stakeholders about improvements and how they are achieved; support teamwork and use of data and dashboards for business decisions.

Identify, analyze, prioritize, and implement improvement opportunities based on their value to the organization.

Capability Maturity

Champion data solutions to enhance value and close gaps; automate and continuously improve core data functions such as collection, extraction, transformation, quality validation, and control; collaborate with stakeholders to ensure data and BI capabilities and data quality.

Assess, test, and implement new or upgraded software; assist with strategic decisions on new systems; help form data management and governance processes within the data engineering team.
