Job Title: Residential Construction Employment Recruiter
Job Summary
We are seeking a results-driven Residential Construction Employment Recruiter to identify, attract, and hire skilled professionals for residential construction projects. This role focuses on sourcing candidates such as carpenters, project managers, and general laborers, ensuring our workforce meets project timelines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs for residential construction projects
Source candidates through job boards, trade schools, referrals, and networking within the construction industry
Screen resumes, conduct interviews, and evaluate candidates’ technical skills and experience
Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting to offer acceptance
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified construction professionals
Ensure compliance with employment laws and company hiring policies
Track recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and candidate quality
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in construction or skilled trades
Strong understanding of residential construction roles and terminology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple open positions in a fast-paced environment
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting tools
Preferred Skills
Experience recruiting for skilled trades
Knowledge of local labor markets and trade licensing requirements
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
