About The Opportunity
To perform all aspects necessary for the laser processes used in the manufacturing of Turbine Engine components.
Location
Stuart, Florida, On-site. Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
Responsibilities
Under direct supervision: Cut and drill holes per process back-up sheet
Perform set-ups per back-up sheets
Inspect work per back-up sheets, using micrometers, height gages and calipers
Assist in equipment maintenance
Call up programs per back-up sheets
Demonstrate a good mechanical aptitude
Other duties may be assigned as necessary
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent and/or a minimum of one (1) year of related experience
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future. The Company cannot offer employment to visa holders who require employer sponsorship in the future or cannot work now on a full-time basis
Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of the laser head, power supply, pulse forming network, optical system and the movement system of the laser
Working Conditions
Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Personal protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses and safety shoes) is required on the shop floor
Occasional weekend and evening work may be required to accommodate priorities, deadlines, and schedules
