Production Maintenance Technician (Manufacturing)

1st Shift | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Mon–Fri, OT as needed)
Overview
Seeking a hands‑on Maintenance Technician to support production equipment (not facilities). This role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, and continuous improvement of mechanical, electrical, and automated systems in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair production equipment (mechanical, electrical, PLCs, sensors, vision systems)
Perform preventive maintenance and respond to breakdowns to minimize downtime
Diagnose root causes and implement long‑term fixes and improvements
Repair/replace components and optimize machine performance
Support equipment upgrades, modifications, and new installations
Partner with production and engineering teams to improve reliability and efficiency
Maintain accurate work orders and documentation
Qualifications
2–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience or technical degree
Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Experience with PLCs, sensors, motors, and automated equipment
Ability to read schematics and blueprints
Experience in packaging, converting, printing, or similar manufacturing is a plus
Basic knowledge of pneumatics and control systems
