Job Summary
The primary responsibility of this role is to support the distribution facility production operation by operating business critical equipment, performing preventative maintenance on facility systems, and performing repairs as applicable, ensuring proper safety is followed at all times.

Associate Responsibilities
Operate, perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and operational and functional repairs and adjustments of production critical automated material handling equipment (box erectors, LPA’s, ML20’s, etc.).
Perform industrial battery maintenance, including changing, repair, charging, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Perform all building PMs in accordance with insurance mandated guidelines, making necessary repairs to ensure compliance and escalating issues to supervision.
Perform necessary maintenance, upkeep, and repair of the interior and exterior of the facility, office spaces and related equipment, including plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, welding, weather related maintenance, etc.
Complete work orders, records, logs and other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures.
Maintain inventory of spare parts and orderly storage of all related tools, equipment in the maintenance functions.
Assist technicians on technical repairs.
Coordinate with the Safety department to maintain safety and preventive guidelines in assigned areas, completing audits and repairs as required.
Maintain all lighting/building receptacles by reading building prints, using troubleshooting skills and equipment such as voltmeters, amp clamps, etc. to make necessary changes and repairs.
Complete all work in accordance with established safety procedures, and a working knowledge of OSHA guidelines, NEC, and NFPA FM Global standards.
Required Education
High School Diploma or GED required.
Required Skills & Experience
Requires 1-2 years of experience in industrial maintenance field, related field, or technical training in maintenance field.
Operate cutting torches and welding equipment preferred.
Carpentry, construction, HVAC, and/or plumbing experience preferred.
Electrical, hydraulic, and/or pneumatic experience preferred.Experience reading building prints, or related education preferred.
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, and preventative maintenance programs preferred.
Ability to work in a job with precise tolerances and standards.
Ability to deal with stress in a composed and constructive manner.
Testing may be required for this job.
Physical Requirements And Working Conditions
Distribution environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills to interact with all levels of associates within the organization.
Work/operate under hazardous conditions including with high temp, combustible, and corrosive materials.
Work conducted indoor and outdoor with extreme temperature variation.
Ability to routinely lift/push 65 lbs/ climb and work at heights up to 65 feet.
Proper PPE required.
Safety requirements for the SRT Equipment: must maintain body weight below 300 pounds.
Available to take call.
This position has an On-Site location: Associate will work on-site for all work-related activities.
