We are looking for an entry‑level General Merchandise Clerk to deliver excellent customer service and support retail operations at Meijer.

Responsibilities
Build rapport with customers.
Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
Help customers with questions and direct them to a colleague if necessary.
Stock product and maintain displays according to merchandising standards.
Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.
Support multiple departments, including Health and Beauty Care, Hardlines, Fashion/Softlines, Pets, Hardware, Card and Party, Outdoor, Seasonal, and Floral.
Qualifications
Detail-oriented and organized.
Strong listening and communication skills, both face-to-face and virtual.
Willingness to learn or existing familiarity with job-specific technology.
Problem-solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot.
Process-driven and able to follow procedures efficiently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and twist while handling product.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Desire to work with customers consistently.
