
Structural Project Engineer - Bridge Design

We are looking for a talented Structural Project Engineer / Project Manager to join our Structural Engineering team in Missouri. The ideal candidate for this role will be a Professional Engineer with experience as a project engineer and/or project manager working on DOT or local agency bridge design projects.

Responsibilities
Perform as a project engineer and/or project manager on a variety of DOT and local agency projects related to bridge design
Apply advanced, specialized knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of bridge design
Work on a major project or several major projects of moderate scope with complex features
Lead the preparation of complete design and construction documents for bridge projects
Plan and coordinate aspects of the engineering work
Provide bridge inspection services
Assist management and staff as a technical specialist or advisor
Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments
Assist with preparation of proposals and funding applications
As opportunities present themselves, this role may also be involved in other various responsibilities and projects
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering; Structural emphasis is helpful
Professional Engineer (PE)
8+ years of Structural Engineering experience with an emphasis on bridge design projects
Experience with project management and accounting software is beneficial
Exceptional organization skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work individually or as part of a team
