Assistant Maintenance Manager
College degree (minimum Associate) with major related to technology, electrical or mechanical systems. Experience in supervisory or management roles. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
Experience may be substituted for accredited formal education (technical school or college degree).
Experience with wastewater treatment process control equipment & systems, and related infrastructure.
Experience in managing, repairing, and maintaining electrical & mechanical systems; using computerized maintenance management systems and electronic work order systems.
Knowledge of purchasing and procurement methods, obtaining/using contracts, quotation & competitive bidding processes, on-call service agreements.
Proficient with office communications equipment and software, i.e., spreadsheets, word processing, e-mail.
Possess and maintain valid driver’s license and driving record satisfactory to District policy.
Minimum qualifications cannot be obtained through on-the-job training
Mon-Fri. Full-time. Salary Exempt.
