Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role (possibly some travel) located in Fort Wayne, IN, for Utility Workers, Service Technicians, and Heavy Machinery Mechanics. Individuals in this role will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing heavy machinery and equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities may include operating machinery such as forklifts, troubleshooting equipment issues, conducting routine checks, assisting with customer inquiries, and adhering to safety standards and protocols, particularly in relation to equipment use and maintenance.
Qualifications
Effective Communication and strong Customer Service skills
Proficiency in Forklift Operation and safe handling practices
Experience in providing or receiving Training related to machinery and workplace safety
Knowledge of Food Safety or similar regulatory standards relevant to equipment usage and maintenance
Problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in heavy machinery repair is a plus
Willingness to work on-site (and possibly some travel) and comply with safety and operational guidelines
