The Bismarck Tribune, a Lee Enterprises, Inc. publication, is seeking a full-time Building Maintenance Technician to oversee all indoor and outdoor building maintenance.
Responsibilities
Daily cleaning
Maintenance of buildings, equipment, systems, and grounds
Regular inspection of buildings and equipment to identify and address potential issues
Plumbing work to address leaks, clogs or other drainage problems
Use carpentry skills to handle basic repairs around the building
Attention to detail to ensure all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and potential hazards are not overlooked
Qualifications
Physical strength and dexterity to lift, move and handle equipment
Strong verbal and written communication skills for discussing maintenance issues
Organizational and time‑management skills
Basic mechanical, plumbing and electrical skills
Ability to work independently and also with a variety of departments and people
