The Opportunity

Give Kids The World Village is an 89 acre, whimsical nonprofit resort in Central Florida that provides critically ill children and their families with a magical week long wish vacation at no cost. Amidst snoring trees, enchanting castles and the world’s largest game of Candy Land, Give Kids The World creates life changing moments that lift spirits, renew hope and inspire belief in the impossible. We believe that each member of our team has the ability to help create the perfect storybook experience for the special families we host at our magical Village. This internship will give you an opportunity to have meaningful learning experiences while supporting department goals and gaining real world exposure to the hospitality
onprofit industry.
Commitment

Interns will be expected on property 3 to 4 days per week totaling roughly 24 to 28 hours per week. Your schedule will be dependent on department needs and will be discussed with you at the time of onboarding. Internship Program will run from May 18, 2026 to August 14, 2026.
Responsibilities

Conduct physical audits of Village assets to verify location, condition, and other asset information.
Update and maintain accurate records within the asset inventory management system.
Assist with reconciling discrepancies between physical assets and system records.
Tag new and existing assets.
Support asset lifecycle processes, including intake, reassignment, storage, and disposing of assets.
Ensure asset data is complete, accurate, and up to date.
Follow established policies and procedures related to asset management and data security.
Provide general support to the asset inventory team as needed.
Physical Demands Beyond Normal Office Environment

Regularly required to walk, stand, bend, crouch, balance, use hands and arms to lift/move objects.
Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds.
Able to maintain a flexible schedule, which may include nights, weekends and/or holidays.
Work may take place indoors and outdoors, including storage areas and non climate controlled environments.
Qualifications

Professional verbal and written communication skills ensuring courtesy, efficiency, and detailed follow through.
Creative problem-solving skills.
Enthusiastic attitude.
Working knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
Must have strong organization and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Education / Experience Required

Be enrolled in an accredited college/university, pursuing a degree, and taking at least one class at the time of application.
