HGV Roamer Driver

Your home location will be Sandy, but you will be required to travel to other operation centres to assist them with holiday cover and increased workload. **You will complete 3 to 4 overnights per week, for which you will receive an additional overnight allowance payment.** A Copart Roamer/Tramper HGV Driver, collects and delivers predominantly accident damaged vehicles of all shapes, sizes, and conditions on our salvage transporters and therefore the role can be physically demanding. Copart Drivers must comply with legal and company requirements of a professional driver and operate the vehicle and loading equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following all H&S policies and procedures.* It’s essential that you possess an HGV/LGV Licence C + E* Current CPC* A good understanding of the EC Drivers Hours and Working Time regulations using a tachograph* Driving experience in both rural and urban environments* Great communication skills, both written and verbal* Excellent customer service skills* Flexibility* Strong attention to detail* Confident in the use of handheld devices, with experience in the use of basic IT applications* Adaptable, with the ability to organise and adjust your working day* Car transportation or recovery experience would be an advantage, but isn’t essential**What we offer you in return:** This role is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and satisfactory references
