Job Description

Onsite/Hybrid - minimum 3 days a week onsite, rotating onsite between the two site locations as needed.
Location: Mount Sinai South Nassau Radiation Oncology locations – Two locations at Oceanside and Valley Stream.
The Applications Analyst III supervises and provides technical guidance to the staff in the development of specifications for new or revised systems.
Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Advanced degree preferred.
Five years of solid, diverse work experience in IT.
Experience with Elekta Mosaiq (REQUIRED).
Experience with Varian Linear Accelerators (REQUIRED).
Minimum of 2‑3 years of hands‑on experience as an analyst working in a radiation oncology environment (REQUIRED).
Experience with Varian Eclipse Treatment Planning system (PREFERRED).
Experience supporting multiple facilities (PREFERRED).
Experience with Epic Beacon/Oncology related modules (PREFERRED).
Experience with HL7 interface design, build and configuration (PREFERRED).
Responsibilities

Provide application support for the Department of Radiation Oncology.
Assist with design, configuration and builds for Radiation Oncology systems.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
In‑depth knowledge of clinical or operational workflows in radiation oncology departments.
Work closely with clinical stakeholders, departmental operations staff, and other DTP teams to ensure the Radiation Oncology systems meet the needs of our providers and support high‑quality patient care, safety, and efficiency.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, and the capacity to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Ability to be onsite for day‑to‑day operational support at Mount Sinai South Nassau (minimum 3 days).
Assist with Incident queue management – from receiving issues reported by users and/or ATE support, to completing required build changes, and following through with change management, issue resolution with users.
Create and maintain comprehensive system build documentation, decision logs to ensure transparency and continuity, tipsheets for end users.
Execute testing and manage timely resolution of defects, issues, optimization requests for all assigned projects and initiatives.

Compensation Statement

Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $99,200 - $148,800 annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
