Nurse Practitioner | Surgery - Trauma Location: Minneapolis, MN Employer: Lancesoft Inc Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Locum NP / PA – Trauma Hospitalist (Nights) Minnesota Facility Setting: Level I Trauma Center (Adult & Pediatric) We are actively seeking an experienced Acute Care NP or PA for a locum trauma hospitalist role covering May–July with up to full-time availability . Role Overview ✨ Primarily functions as a Trauma Hospitalist Rounder ✨ Intermittent ED consults, trauma activations & procedures ✨ Autonomous practice with 24/7 Trauma Surgeon support ✨ In-house only | No call ✨ Epic EMR ⏰ Schedule Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Dates: May–July (ongoing coverage) Patient Volume • Non-ICU: 10–14 patients/day • ICU: ~6 patients/day • ED/Admissions: 2–15 per 24 hrs Responsibilities ✔ Respond to ED trauma alerts ✔ ER admissions & daily rounding ✔ Full medical management of all conditions ✔ Facilitate discharges ✔ No hospitalist service—APP functions at attending level ️ Preferred Procedures Vent & non-invasive vent management (BiPAP/CPAP) Chest tubes Central & arterial lines Suturing minor lacerations Requirements ✅ Requirements ✔ Board Certified ACNP / AGNP / PA-C ✔ No FNPs ✔ Minnesota license (required at submission) ✔ ACLS, ATLS, PALS ✔ DEA (verbal confirmation) ✔ Minimum 1 year inpatient APP experience ✔ Trauma / ICU / Ortho experience strongly preferred Submission Requirements • NPDB Self-Query (same month as submission) • All certifications active at name clear How to Apply Interested candidates can reply with their CV on or message directly to learn more and discuss next steps.aa415a4b-8b21-40fc-a65c-70d2b25ca29a
