Skills & Experience Requirement
8+ years experience in manufacturing or machining
Solidworks modeling & drafting desired – other CAD modeling program experience required
Must communicate effectively with customers and fellow team members
Solid understanding of machining methods and tolerancing
Ability to be punctual
Responsibilities include
Support manufacturing shop with engineering needs
Mechanical design of gauges, fixtures and special machines
Create control plans or process evaluations for new and current parts
Direct customer contact to meet the needs of sales, estimating and project follow through
Assure that all design and documents meet quality requirements
Some travel
