Job Summary
We are seeking an individual with experience working with in-country representatives and establishing contact with procurement departments in various countries. Business Development/Sales Manager to lead our efforts in the defense sector, competing with top players like Oshkosh Defense, SandCat, Teradyne, Gurkha, GDLS, and General Dynamics Land Systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving growth, building relationships with key decision-makers, and capturing new business opportunities. MUST HAVE SOLD TO LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND GLOBAL CLIENTS BUYING FULLY ASSEMBLED UNITS. Foreign Military Sales is a major must!
Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to capture new business opportunities in the defense sector
Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in government agencies, prime contractors, and industry partners
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including RFPs, RFIs, and unsolicited proposals
Collaborate with engineering, program management, and operations teams to ensure successful proposal development and project execution
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform business development efforts
Develop and manage sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance metrics
Nice-to-Haves
Experience with MRAP or tactical vehicle programs
Knowledge of international defense markets and export regulations
Experience with team management and leadership
