Steel Tech USA is a leading Cold Formed Steel manufacturer headquartered in Lewisville, TX. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a motivated HR & Marketing Assistant to support both our people operations and our brand presence. This is an in‑office position, Mon - Friday 8 - 5pm.
Role Overview
Reporting to the HR and Marketing Director, you will play a dual role supporting daily HR operations alongside marketing and communications initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a versatile, detail‑oriented professional who enjoys wearing multiple hats in a fast‑paced industrial environment. This is not a boring data entry job; you will also coordinate lunches, run occasional work‑related errands, and get a taste of entrepreneurial work.
Key Responsibilities
HR Functions
Assist with full‑cycle recruitment: job postings, resume screening, and interview coordination.
Onboard new hires, prepare offer letters and employment documentation.
Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases.
Support benefits administration and open enrollment processes.
Coordinate employee training sessions and track completion.
Handle HR inquiries and elevate issues appropriately.
Assist in organizing company events and recognition programs.
Marketing Functions
Create and schedule content for LinkedIn, Facebook, and company website.
Support the development of marketing materials, brochures, and presentations.
Assist in writing press releases, newsletters, and internal communications.
Coordinate trade show attendance, promotional materials, and sponsorships.
Track marketing metrics and compile monthly performance reports.
Manage company photography and media asset library.
Coordinate with vendors and design agencies on campaigns.
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in HR, marketing, or an administrative support role.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, BambooHR, or similar).
Familiarity with social media management tools.
Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite is a plus).
