A fast‑growing healthcare and medical device distributor is undertaking a major operational transformation, consolidating five facilities into one unified, purpose‑built operation while simultaneously launching its first‑ever WMS platform, building new eCommerce workstations, and executing a full operational reset.
This is a high‑visibility consulting engagement for a project leader who thrives in complex environments, keeps multiple workstreams aligned, and brings a “we can absolutely do this” energy to every challenge.
What You’ll Lead
Master project schedule across construction, racking, technology, office build‑out, and operational cutover
Vendor and contractor management across all scopes (lighting, racking, flooring, painting, WMS integration, etc.)
Budget tracking, bid comparisons, and cost‑variance reporting
Weekly project updates, RAG status, risk logs, and communication with internal stakeholders
On‑site oversight to verify progress, quality, and sequencing
WMS integration coordination, UAT planning, and go‑live readiness
eCommerce workstation design, layout, procurement, and installation
Administrative support including scheduling, documentation, and board‑ready presentations
What You Bring
Proven project management experience in warehouse, logistics, construction, or facility relocation
Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams under tight deadlines
Strong communication, organization, and follow‑through
High personal accountability — able to operate independently
Proficiency with MS Project, Smartsheet, or similar tools
Preferred
PMP certification, warehouse build‑out experience, WMS deployment experience, eCommerce/fulfillment exposure.
Engagement Details
Independent contractor / consultant role
Immediate start through September 30, 2026
Primarily on‑site with remote flexibility
