Overview
Creates and maintains accurate records of all inventories (including label room), verifying that product shipments and receipts are properly accounted for.
Inventory Control Specialist Essential Functions
Completes daily physical count of materials in facility including raw materials, finished goods, and label room to ensure accurate record keeping and availability of product.
Maintains records and develops reports for the reconciliation of supplies inventories.
Reviews productions kits to ensure that inventory is on hand.
Updates and maintains worksheet of materials scheduled to be produced.
Completes required paperwork on cycle counts and inventory levels as needed for review by production managers.
Assists in the organization of warehouse and improvement of inventory control operations.
Accounts for all defective or damaged product and follows appropriate corrective actions.
Assists in developing daily production scheduling based on inventory counts and needs.
Marginal Functions
Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times and streamline work processes
Provides backup support to Packaging Operators as needed.
Operate forklift as required.
Job Specifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Prefer 1-3 years prior experience operating a forklift in a high volume environment.
Able to follow specific instructions thoroughly and accurately, and provide instructions to other associates as needed.
Ability to understand, follow and enforce company policies and procedures.
