QualDerm Partners is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to join our dynamic and growing team. This is a FLOAT Medical Assistant position supporting 15+ QualDerm clinic locations across Illinois and Indiana. This role requires consistent travel between clinics and is not tied to a single office location. Candidates must be comfortable working in different clinics on a regular basis and adapting quickly to new teams and environments.
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care and supporting a high-performing clinical team. This position is ideal for someone who is highly flexible, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-site environment where travel is a core part of the role.

Key Responsibilites

Prepare patients for examination by taking vital signs and documenting medical history

Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring all instruments and supplies are ready

Perform basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis

Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in the EHR system

Support both clinical and administrative functions as needed across locations

Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and proper skincare practices

Ensure exam rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times

High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification preferred

Prior experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting required

Dermatology experience strongly preferred

Knowledge of medical terminology and dermatology-specific practices

Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and team members

High level of discretion and commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment

Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and general office software

Compensation Range:

$19.50 - $27.00 per hour. Final offer will be based on a combination of skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
