
Exterior Design Coordinator

About the Role
The Exterior Design Coordinator is responsible for supporting the design and selection process for exterior finishes on new homes and communities. This role ensures that all exterior selections meet company standards, developer guidelines, and customer expectations while maintaining accuracy in documentation and timely communication across departments.
What You’ll Do
Responsible for processing exterior selection documents and change orders
Ensure selections comply with architectural guidelines, HOA requirements, and company standards
Collaborate with the Exterior Selections Manager to update and refine design options based on trends and availability
Enter and maintain accurate selections in company systems (e.g., SalesHub, Selections Hub)
Track and update changes to selections promptly to avoid delays
Assist with special projects as needed.
Communicate with Sales, Construction, Purchasing, and Design teams to ensure alignment on exterior selections
Provide timely updates on material changes, availability issues, and design adjustments
Support the sales team by answering questions related to exterior selections
Complete projects on short notice with extreme time constraints
What We’re Looking For
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred
Requires at least 1 year of general work experience
Demonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Current, valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
